Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Luyendyk!

Arie Luyendyk and Lauren Burnham were married in Maui on January 13th. It was not televised. Arie Luyendyk Jr. (37) and Lauren Burnham (27) can officially call themselves Maui’ed as their honeymoon tees proclaim below.

Fun Fact: Chris Harrison has officiated five Bachelor weddings: Ashley and JP, Carly and Evan, Jade and Tanner, and Lacy and Marcus (who broke up and never legally filed their wedding papers, but I digress) and now Lauren and Arie.

Bonus Fun Fact: Harrison became ordained for another kind of Bachelor wedding. Two Bachelor producers, Cassie Lambert and Peter Scalettar, asked him to officiate their wedding and that is why Chris Harrison became ordained, according to Bustle.

Lauren’s Wedding Dress

I definitely dress shamed the lady in the background. You don’t wear white to a wedding people! But then again, I suppose all of her bridesmaids wore white too and I do not think Lauren cared. Twitter let me know that that lady is actually Lauren Luyendyk’s wedding gown designer Hayley Paige. Fun! US Magazine has all the photos. As do Arie’s Instagram and Lauren’s Instagram. They are happily “Maui’ed” as their matching in-love honeymoon shirts proclaim.

The Wedding Rings

Lauren’s ring cost around $80,000 and is 3.65 carats surrounded by 170 smaller diamonds. E!Online says that the ring is a ring Arie had looked at when he was originally deciding on proposing to Becca or Lauren. Typically ABC pays for the wedding ring, unless the couple breaks up in two years. It’s unclear, but news interviews indicate Arie was not the one paying for Lauren’s ring. Prior to the wedding, Arie and Lauren announced that they were pregnant and expecting a pink bundle of joy. I will say, as much as this couple annoys me with their gushiness and awkward way they became a couple, I am looking forward to meeting their adorable little girl.
