Skateboarding (Kinda), Apple Picking, Prom, and Paddleboarding. It’s Hometowns!

The crew is headed to hometowns! …still in Minneapolis. Because of the pandemic they were staying in Minneapolis, but that didn’t stop them from recreating a hometown date and meeting the families. Before the dates, Tayshia took Michelle for a walk and told her that hometowns were her favorite because she could see the men as themselves around their families.

Who got kicked off: Rodney was sent home.

Brandon from Portland, Oregon

Brandon took Michelle to a skate park. Brandon was a little rusty on the skating. But it was cute. Brandon just really likes Michelle. Michelle told Brandon she was falling for him. She said she could see how well their families would fit together. Her dad and Brandon’s dad could go fishing. Brandon’s dad and Michelle could play basketball.

Quote of the night from Brandon: “We still have a long journey. It’s a marathon. But I truly want it to be me.” Awwww.

Rodney from Rancho Cucamonga, California

Rodney took Michelle to an apple picking farm and in search of the “First Kiss” apple that is originally from Minnesota.

Michelle told Rodney, “I laugh so much when I’m with you. I feel like I’m myself and I can come as I am and you’ll take me either way. I love happy Rodney. But if that’s not how you’re feeling, I love whatever version you’re feeling.”

Rodney is falling in love and told Michelle that.

Michelle met mom and dad. And mama was nervous because she knows the numbers. Mama knows.

Joe from Minneapolis, Minnesota (coincidentally Michelle’s hometown too)

Joe reciprocated Michelle’s high school date by taking her to his high school, Hopkins High School. He hopped her up on a wall and made out in front of the library instead of behind the book stacks. He said he had always wanted to do it but didn’t have a girlfriend. He set up a prom in the gym and asked Michelle to prom. And they got to be Prom King and Queen. And they had a photobooth.

Michelle met the fam, and Joe told her he was falling in love with Michelle and his feelings were getting stronger and stronger and that Michelle was the one special person for me. Alright, Joe!

Nayte from Austin, Texas

Nayte took Michelle paddleboarding. After paddleboarding, they hung out on a blanket on a grassy spot and Nayte revealed a lot! He said he had never brought home anyone that he was head over heels for her. Michelle was quick to quip, “Oh, so you’re head over heels for me.” And Nayte blushed and laughed and replied, “I’m crazy about you. You know that. I’m falling for you.” Nayte responded with “I’m falling for you too.” Gah! SO cute!

Nayte’s family doesn’t know if Nayte is ready to commit and settle down. Michelle is concerned about that.
